We spent the afternoon reminiscing about autumn time! Fall memories were gathered from all who attended and used to create the following poem:
Children are going back to school Picking apples along the way. The Weather cools down, temperatures drop, And the nights get longer than the days.
Colors brighten the countryside as the Master Painter displays his art. The farmers work their crops and fields Filling our bellies and warming our hearts.
Halloween and harvest time bring a crisp breeze and rosy cheeks. So we gather around a bonfire And smell the aroma of burning leaves.
The quilt is out on Grandma’s bed, For night is colder than the day. Ice is forming on the pond, Old Man Winter is on the way.

Our leaf rubbings were a success yesterday afternoon! The leaves aren’t quite changing color yet, but we are excited for when they do! We picked green leaves right off of trees on our campus and colored overtop of them with autumn colors! Happy October! ... See MoreSee Less
